Recipe:

Dry ingredients

• 1 cup cake flour
• 1 cup castor sugar
• ½ cup coco powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt Mix all dry ingredients

Wet ingredients

• 1 egg
• ½ cup buttermilk
• ½ cup oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• ½ cup very hot water
• Mix all wet ingredients but not the hot water

Mix dry and wet ingredients mix the hot water last

Fill 12 cup cake holders and bake at 180*c for 15 -20mins

• Icing
• Butter
• Icing sugar
• Vanilla essence
