Prawn with Basil & Chillies

Ingredients:

  • deveined tiger prawns
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch crushed black pepper
  • 1tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. sweet basil
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp. freshly chopped chilli

 

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, add the deveined prawns, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, sweet basil and garlic and leave to marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  2. Grill on braai for 4-5 min each side: important to check for colour once red/pink prawns are done)
  3. Drizzle with lemon juice and serve
