Pick n Pay Namibia Valentine’s Day Advent Calendar Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
   • The Pick n Pay Namibia Valentine’s Day Advent Calendar Competition (the “Competition”) is organised and administered by Pick n Pay Namibia (“the Promoter”).
   • By entering this Competition, all participants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, which shall be interpreted at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
2. Eligibility
   • The Competition is open to Namibian residents aged 18 years or older, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, and any individuals professionally connected with the Competition.
   • Participants must have a valid Facebook account and comply with Facebook’s terms of service.
   • No purchase or entry fee is required to participate unless otherwise stated.
3. Competition Period
   • The Competition begins on 8 February 2025 and ends on 14 February 2025 at 2:00 PM (Namibian Time).
   • Entries received after the stated closing date and time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
   • To enter the Competition, participants must:
     • Follow the official Pick n Pay Namibia Facebook page to validate their entry.
     • Comment on any of the daily “7 Days of Valentine’s Surprises with Pick n Pay Namibia” posts with their guess of what the hidden gift for that day is.
   • Each participant is permitted one entry per day. Multiple entries on the same post will result in disqualification.
   • Entries must be posted before 2:00 PM (Namibian Time) on the day of the competition post. Late entries will be disregarded.
   • Entries containing offensive, inappropriate, or irrelevant content will be disqualified. Edited entries will not be eligible.
5. Prizes
   • The daily winner will receive the gift revealed in the Advent Calendar post for that day. Gifts will vary each day and will be announced along with the winning entry at 4:00 PM (Namibian Time) on the same day.
   • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
   • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.
6. Winner Selection
   • The winner will be the participant who guesses the correct gift first or whose guess is the closest to the actual gift in the event that no participant has guessed correctly.
   • In the event of multiple correct or equally close guesses, the entrant who submitted their comment first will be declared the winner for that day. 6.3. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.

6.4. Winners will be announced daily at 4:00 PM (Namibian Time) via a post on the Pick n Pay Namibia Facebook page and contacted via direct message. Winners must respond within 7 days of being contacted to claim their prize. 7. Prize Collection

• Winners must respond to the Promoter’s direct message and provide

any necessary details for prize collection within 7 days of the announcement date.

• If a winner fails to respond within the specified time frame, the prize will be forfeited, and no alternative winner will be selected.
• Prizes must be collected in person from the winner’s nearest Pick n Pay Namibia store within 14 days of responding to the direct message. For verification purposes, winners must present a valid form of identification (either a Namibian ID or driver’s licence) at the time of collection.
• Prizes may differ slightly in appearance from the promotional images, which are for illustrative purposes only.

8. General Terms
   • By participating in the Competition, entrants consent to the use of their name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes related to the Competition, without any additional compensation.
   • The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the Competition if unforeseen circumstances arise that are beyond its control.
   • The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance of any prize.
   • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent activity.
9. Privacy
   • Personal information collected for the purpose of this Competition will be processed in accordance with the Pick n Pay Namibia Privacy Policy and will be used solely for the administration of the Competition.
10. Facebook Disclaimer
    • This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
    • By entering, participants release Facebook from any liability associated with the Competition.
11. Governing Law
    • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Namibia, and any disputes arising from the Competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Namibia.
